Problem
The objective of the ultrasound inspection is to listen for crackling and buzzing sounds with a high reading to locate problems like arcing and surface discharge inside switchgear. However, the analysis of the ultrasound wave highly depends on the interpretation from an experienced inspector. In many cases, there are conflicting analyses performed by different ultrasound expert.
