SEVERITY AUTOMATED CALCULATION (SAC)

TNBR have developed their specialized severity index level for Cable Conditions Based Maintenance based on offline OWTS PD Mapping. The severity index come with a complete recommendation and action guides. The PD severity index development was verified through teardown on actual PD physical defect samples collected from actual MVUG network. This severity index were made automatically calculated by the newly developed software namely “Severity Automated Calculation (SAC)”.

The current method, which relies on manual calculations, can sometimes lead to errors and is not as precise as automated calculations. Furthermore, after calculating the severity of a defective cable, no action plan is proposed to address the issues.
