Problem
In the event of a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) breakdown, valuable process and emission data will be lost and online compliance reporting to DoE will fail. Additional costs will also be incurred on the repair and maintenance of CEMS and the reputation of the power plant in monitoring and controlling emissions will be impaired.
